Waddy the Widgeon, I really hope you can do both (Mayhem and the other weekend), as it would be great for the same team to do Mayhem.

Capt. Ravenous Rick,
Waddy the Widgeon,
Fast Pedaling Dave the poor-singing Skylark
& Me the Merlin...

What could be better...

Merlins, the UK's smallest bird of prey, use speed & agility to hunt. Often seen flying fast & low to surprise prey.
But they are actually most successful in the air, chasing birds. It is one of the best aerial predators..!

Rick,
When do the entries open for this?
ie. When do we need to sort the team out?

OK i'm in - but on the provision we sort a club weekend somewhere as well.

not everyones into competition riding and it'd be good to go away with the rest.

so i'll need to be match fit for mid June... i'm keen not to be 10-20% off the ben and daves pace by then ;o)

So, after a last minute flurry of discussion and team haggling, the Hayfield Hub team is sorted as...

Rick (Capt.),
Ben,
Andy,
Eoin.

I delivered the entry form to Pat Adams' farm (to ensure entry) the day after the entry form was released, and we had an e-mail confirming our place the other day. Better get some training in!

FP Dave ducked out at the last minute to join another team - traitor, defector, deserter etc...! Good luck - see you there.

I've entered hit the north already. The Grizedale event seems a long way to go for just 30 miles
