Thanks for a great route Gus, particularly enjoyed the rocky accents and Tarmac decents

I may not be out on Wednesday I f**ked my back up lifting something I think. I've had a chiropractor manipulating me back into position today, but muscles are still in a lot of pain.

Ben forgot to mention in his post match report that we saw Rob Hindle in the pub on Wednesday night. His bike is almost ready for action again, all he needs is enthusiasm and some encouragement, or Karl from Didsbury to join us again. Where were you Karl? We waited until 7:45.

Will see you all soon, with a miraculous recovery maybe Wednesday.

Dave, How is your back? Are you out tonight?

Rob, Are either of your bikes fixed yet? You out tonight?

Gus has had his appointment put back so he's out, I guess Gary and FP are too. Anyone else out?

See you later.

Hi All

Back is a bit better but no where near being right!

Plus I've put my fingers in the plug socket. Look what's happened

Is electrocution really an alternative therapy for a bad back?

Bit late posting but I'll be out tonite, single speed, pivot bearings are all wobbly on the heavy bike but it has gears I guess - can see justification for a new bike looming on the horizon!

Ride Report from Wednesday 10/03/10

Route Map

In attendance: Gus, Gary, FP Dave, Bryan, Carl, Ben (Mate of Gus – Yeah I couldn’t believe he had any friends either!), and myself.

Weather: Dry, clear and not that cold.
Conditions: Dry, apart from the usual areas that never dry out.

Most useful thing: More Mental Hillness flyers put up on gates and posts.
Most annoying thing: I got two punctures at the same time – arr…
Best thing: The assistance I got from Bryan and Gus with changing tubes x 2.
Most predicable thing: Nothing usual – just what you’d expect…
Most surprising thing: No-one went to the pub!

Summary: Productive, fun, dusty (is spring finally coming) and sociable (despite the lack of a visit to the pub).

Any chance you can remind me of that website address for brake pads that you mentioned the other week Ben?
